What is Alarm Plan?
Alarm Plan provides professionally installed alarm and CCTV systems with clear outright purchase pricing for homes and businesses across the UK.
Is the security survey free?
Yes. The initial property survey and recommendation are provided without pressure to proceed.
Can I choose an alarm without CCTV?
Yes. Alarm-only, CCTV-only and combined options are available. The survey helps determine which approach fits your priorities.
What are the starter purchase prices?
Burglar alarm packages start from £599, CCTV packages from £650, and combined alarm and CCTV packages from £1,100. Advertised prices include VAT and standard installation; the specification and final purchase price are confirmed in writing after survey.
Will I receive the full price in writing?
Yes. Your written quotation confirms the proposed equipment, installation scope and complete outright purchase price before you commit.
Are the same packages installed in every property?
No. We use the survey to tailor coverage rather than applying a fixed equipment bundle to every home or business.
Is app access included?
App access is not included in the advertised starter packages. It can be added for £3.50 per month, per system, meaning £7 per month for a combined alarm and CCTV package. Your written quotation lists every included feature before you proceed.
Can you upgrade an existing alarm or CCTV system?
Yes. Existing equipment, cabling and camera positions can be assessed to determine whether a takeover, partial upgrade or replacement is most practical.
Do you install for businesses?
Yes. We design security for shops, offices, hospitality premises, warehouses, workshops and other commercial properties.
Do you cover my area?
Alarm Plan installs alarms and CCTV nationwide. Send your postcode and we will confirm the next available survey route for your area.
What happens after installation?
Your engineer configures and demonstrates the system at handover. The advertised starter packages include a 12-month warranty; routine servicing and non-warranty repairs are not included.
Can I spread the cost?
Ask whether an approved third-party payment option is available. Availability, eligibility, provider terms and the total amount payable would be confirmed separately before you proceed.
Will I receive everything in writing?
Yes. The proposed equipment, installation, purchase price, warranty and exclusions are set out before you decide whether to proceed.
